Triton of the Sea - Episode 13

"The Chase of the Giant Beast Bakyura"

Poripeimos laughs in triumph. "Your dagger is just wasted iron!" He
goes to find Triton and Pipi to bring to Poseidon.

Ero and Karo, searching for everyone else, see the corpse of a
dolphin. They finally find Luka, unconscious. She asks where
Triton and Pipi are (of course Ero and Karo don't know). Pipi was
swept away from her (but caught by Triton) and Luka was too injured
to follow Triton. A generic dolphin reports that there are still
many of Poripeimos's troops around the island. hunting for Triton.
They are relieved that at least they haven't found Triton yet.

Marcus nags Poripeimos to find Triton ASAP. Poripeimos then notices
the dolphins, and calls Bakyura, a large purple beast with one
horn, to find the two Triton before they escape. Bakyura shows off
his stuff by sucking in some squids and disintegrating some rock (and
skeletonizing some fish) with stuff from his ass. Ero and Karo
are barely able to escape his suckitude.

Those are just random fish in his mouth, not E and K.

On a distant island, two ducks see Pipi. She wakes up and call Triton's name. Her old fish pal jumps around and leads her to Triton (along with some other fish onlookers), who is on a nearby island unconscious. She wakes him up, and later they thank the fish. Triton sadly remarks
that he couldn't win with the Oriharucon this time. The fish onlookers tell them to get out of there before something happens to them (just like the dolphins). Triton remarks that they will
understand when Poseidon is destroyed. Both of them agree- they have to go to the Atlantic!

Good ol' Marcus appears to snap at Poripeimos for letting them escape. "Remember what
happened five thousand years ago?" Marcus asks. "The Poseidon sunk Atlantis into the sea. To dominate the sea, we killed all the Atlantis residents. I didn't realize that their children (the Triton) survived." Marcus gives him the usual "Kill Triton" spiel.

Luka and the dolphins take a rest from searching. Only Fin's mother decides to keep searching.

Triton and Pipi come across Bakyura. Triton does not want to use
the Oriharucon dagger and frighten the fish, so he goes after
Bakyura with a stick. "It puts his eye out, kid!" Not to worry - he
has a bunch more. Bakyura sucks Triton in, but Triton uses the stick
to force Bakyura's mouth open. Triton leads Bakyura to the surface, and he seems to dry out very easily.

Realizing Bakyura's weakness, Triton leads Bakyura out onto dry land. Bakyura does not suffer as badly as predicted, and Triton and Pipi must hide in a cave to avoid the monster. Triton finally wises up and uses his Oriharucon dagger on Bakyura, which expires.

Triton wonders why the monster did not explode - the dagger only
killed Bakyura this time. Pipi and Triton see Fin's mother, who
is in bad shape. Fin's mother tells the two of them that Luka
and the rest have headed for the Atlantic, where they expect to meet
Triton. Unfortunately, Fin's mother dies soon after she gives them
the message.

Triton and Pipi head for the Atlantic.
