Triton of the Sea - Episode 19

"Revived White Whale"

Luka remarks that Leharl is the most fearful Poseidon they have faced yet. Triton does not think Pipi and Fin are in danger (he is the one the Poseidon want), but they need to get to them soon. Suddenly, they see seagulls and an odd island. A white island with no plants, a big
mouth, and eyes. It's the titular "White Whale", and it attacks Triton, who is trapped in a whirlpool.

Baboon Boy is overjoyed, and tells Marcus to inform Poseidon that
Triton is already dead. Neleus does not believe it and tells
Leharl that he had better get the body and prove Triton is dead.

Triton washes up on a fishing village. The inhabitants ask him
what happened, and Triton tells them that the white whale attacked
him. A young boy screams that Triton is lying; his father Laurence
killed the white whale a long time ago.


The boy Gildy runs to his peg-legged pop Laurence and asks him if he is lying; a boy says that the whale is still alive. The town calls Laurence a liar, but he tells them that it couldn't be the same one. They scoff at the idea of more than one.



Laurence talks to Triton, but sees Gildy going out to sea, crying
that his father is a liar. Laurence says that if the whale is
still alive, he will kill it. He stabbed it in several places
with his spear. Triton remarks to himself that Poseidon must have
revived it. Laurence does not understand how it could be revived;
he thought he had wounded it badly enough.


Triton and Laurence go after Gildy. Gildy is saved, but Triton is
hypnotized by the eyes of the white whale. Laurence manages to
harpoon the whale and stabs the whale with the Oriharucon dagger
(which disrupts Lehar's view of the whole ordeal). The white
whale vanishes in a whirlwind (after leaping from the water). Gildy
and his father are reconciled. Triton remarks that his father should
be a real man like Laurence.

Triton finds Luka, Ero, and Karo, and the search for Pipi begins
again...
